Hi, I'm Emily.

Everyone deserves to have someone in your corner.

Financial conversations for real people, real families, and real life.

Maybe you're building a family. Maybe you're building a career. Maybe you're thinking about retirement. Maybe something changed and you're not sure what comes next. Or maybe you just know you should probably start thinking about your financial future—but you have absolutely no idea where to begin.

That's okay. Let's start there.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a place to start asking questions.

Before we talk about money...

Let me introduce myself.

I’m Emily. I’m a wife, a mom, a military spouse, a lifelong learner, an explorer, and someone who genuinely believes people deserve to feel more confident about their future.

Before becoming a mom, I spent much of my life living paycheck to paycheck and worrying about money. When my daughter was born, I started thinking differently. I wanted more opportunities for her than I had growing up. I wanted to build something different.

So I started looking into financial preparation. And honestly? I didn't even know where to start.

“I’m not stupid. I’m capable. I can figure things out. But the financial world felt complicated, overwhelming, and like it was written for someone who already knew what they were doing.”

If I felt that way, I knew I couldn’t be the only one. That realization is a big part of why I’m here.

You might be here because...

Life doesn't always wait until you're ready.

You don't get to choose when life changes. An accident doesn't check your calendar first. A job change doesn't always come with a warning. The economy doesn't ask whether you're prepared. Sometimes life simply takes an unexpected turn.

You're building a family.

You want to create something secure for the people you love, but you're not sure what “prepared” is supposed to look like.

You're building a life.

Career changes, moves, marriage, kids, new opportunities—life keeps moving, and your financial picture has to move with it.

Something changed.

Maybe it was an unexpected expense, a new job, a growing family, or simply the realization that you want to be more intentional.

You don't know what question to ask.

That's a perfectly good place to start. You don't need to arrive with a five-year plan or a vocabulary lesson in finance.

No dumb questions. Seriously.

Ask the question.

Even if you think it's obvious. Even if you think you should have figured it out years ago. Even if you don't know enough about finances to know what question to ask.

01

“I probably should know this.”

Maybe. Maybe not. Either way, there's no judgment here.

02

“I don't even know where to start.”

Good. We can start with what's on your mind and work from there.

03

“Can you just explain it?”

Absolutely. Plain English is welcome here. If something doesn't make sense, we'll slow down.

What it's like to work with me

We start with you. Not a product. Not a sales pitch. You.

01 — WE TALK

Start with what's actually going on.

Your goals, your questions, your family, your priorities, and whatever is stressing you out right now.

02 — WE LOOK

See the bigger picture.

We take a closer look at where you are and what you're trying to accomplish.

03 — WE EXPLAIN

Understand your options.

I'll walk through relevant options in plain language so you can actually understand the conversation.

04 — YOU DECIDE

You choose what comes next.

No pressure. No obligation. Just a clearer picture and the freedom to decide your next step.

A little more Emily

I'm a person before I'm a professional.

I want you to know who you're talking to. So here's a little of the stuff that makes me, me.

The real-life stuff

A few things you should probably know about me.

I'm a military spouse.

Moving, adapting, starting over, building community, and creating stability in the middle of constant change has taught me a lot about what “real life” actually looks like.

I love finding good food.

One of my favorite things about living somewhere new is finding the places locals love. If there's a niche food spot, I probably want to know about it.

I once flew a single-engine plane.

If life had happened differently, maybe I'd be a pilot. I still think that's pretty cool.

Our fridge has a policy.

There will always be both Coke and Diet Coke. We believe in balance around here.

We're always headed somewhere.

We're currently in the middle of another military move—and I'm already excited about all the new places, people, and food waiting on the other side.

I'm proud of where I come from.

I'm incredibly proud of my family—not just the family I've made, but the families we came from and the people who helped shape us.

What can we talk about?

You don't have to know which box you fit into.

These are some of the areas we may discuss depending on your goals, circumstances, and needs. You don't have to pick the “right” one before you reach out.

If you're still wondering...

“What if I don't even know what I need?”

Then you aren't alone. Hundreds, if not thousands of people are in that exact same place. Knowing something has to give or change and having no idea what the first step is. You just took it, by asking the question. Together, we can go from there.

  • I'm worried I'm not prepared.
  • I have a new family and don't know where to start.
  • I want someone to look at the bigger picture with me.
  • I have questions I feel silly asking.
  • Something changed and I need to rethink things.
  • I just want to learn before I make any decisions.
No pressure. No obligation.

Let's start with a conversation.

You don't have to be ready to make a decision. You don't have to know exactly what you need. You can simply have a question.

Tell me a little about what's on your mind, and we'll start there.

Everyone deserves to have someone in their corner.

This is simply an initial conversation. Any product or service discussion will depend on your needs, circumstances, and applicable licensing and appointment requirements.
